I cannot think back at a time when my schedule was busier. No matter how busy I get, my commitment is to my health and eating breakfast is crucial right now.
I have been juggling an extensive workout schedule, watching every moment I can of the World Cup and then I have clients to attend to (yes, in that order…shhh) so breakfast has been harder and harder to squeeze in as my morning absorb the majority of the weight of my day. My longest days are Monday, Wednesday and Friday and this past week I decided to try the BelVita Breakfast Biscuits with a piece of fruit (Banana being my favorite, need that Potassium) and some low fat yogurt to give me the boost I need for my workout.
So far its been great, I never really looked at breakfast bars, I thought they would not have the nutritional value I needed personally but this is what I learned by taking a closer look;
– First of all, they taste great. The Mixed Berry and Apple Cinnamon are my favorites… .
– Contains 20% of my daily value of FIBER
– 11g of Whole Grain per serving
– Has a healthy amount of B-Vitamins
Best of all, it does not include high fructose syrup, which I have been good at avoiding in my diet for the last two years.
So we are watching the Colombia – Brazil match (((dont get me started on the outcome of that match… soy de Cartagena, Paisa))) and I start talking to my training buddy Joey about the BelVita Breakfast Biscuits. Apparently I am not an active listener because he claims he told me about them months ago.
So do not be like me… try these out and when you fall in love with the morning boost you get from a balanced breakfast… #passthelove to your friends and family in person or on social media. BelVita Breakfast Biscuits are the official snack of U.S. Soccer!
BelVita Breakfast Biscuits is celebrating their love of soccer during the Pass the Love campaign and you can too.
