As many of you are out celebrating the end of the year and new beginnings… I have decided to spend this time in quiet reflection at home mentally recapping all the amazing things we have done together this year.
Together we celebrated our 15th year of existence, relaunched our Radio Capicu broadcast (which is currently trending at almost 6k downloads a month), made lots a new friends at Hispanicize 2012 in Miami, worked on strategic partnerships with great organizations LATISM, Being Latino and Latina Mom Bloggers, helped over 35 community members gain employment thru Latino Community Info, celebrated 6 years of Capicu Cultural Showcase, created new branding opportunities like the Coquito -n- Cupcakes Holiday Mixer, coordinated relief efforts for Hurricane Sandy Victims, delivered Christmas to hundreds of kids in Bushwick United Headstart and other toy charities, we hit a record of 10k members of our Facebook Fan Page and last but not least, I had the honor of being featured on Hispanic Lifestyle Magazine as one of USA Today’s Top 6 Bloggers To Watch.
With that said… there are many people to thank for all of these great accomplishments….
