✯ About Our Feature:
“Advocate Of Wordz” is an award winning performing poet, author, host, director and educator who has been honoring his craft for over a decade. He is a teaching artist at the famed “Lincoln Center” in New York City and a resident artist with the Nuyorican Poets Café, where he hosts
workshops for students, grades 3 through 12. As a film director, he produces the “Director of Wordz” series which showcases the work of poets in short films. His work has been featured and/or covered by many major publications including PBS, LA Times, Fox News, BET and Univision.
His book “Advocate Of Wordz; A Book of Poems and Other Creative Nonsense that is Imperative to Your Existence” can be found on Amazon and is also available at all his live
performances. He is also a 2014 BRIO Award winner in the category of “Spoken Word”.
