Por Tu Familia: Stop Diabetes Events In NYC

Mi Gente…

Last year, my friend Helene who works at the American Diabetes Association reached out to me about working with her on a Latino Initiatives project called Por Tu Familia. The project consisted of a huge event to take place in the Bronx called "Feria De Salud".
After meeting all the progressive Latinos from all walks of life that
are passionate about fighting this threat to the health of our
community, I was convinced that this was something I had to do.

My current role is to develop a social media platform for community outreach to get support from people like you on sites like  Facebook & Twitter. The
page is designed to promote wellness events in our community, offer
resources to people fighting diabetes and their families that support
them. I am happy to announce that the Facebook page for "Por Tu Familia NYC"
has been launched and in a short time the page already has over 500 people interested in spreading the word about this cause. Join Today!

Here are the local events happening in the NYC area in November.
