Looking For A New Family Car? The 2013 Nissan Pathfinder Just Might Be It…
I was recently invited to the “Nissan Next” Event at the Miami International Auto Show to check out and test drive the new 2013 Pathfinder… unfortunately, I was not able to travel and missed my opportunity to connect with some of my blogger friends at what turned out to be a pretty cool event by all accounts.
(Special thanks to my reader Cristy who submitted some cool pics for this post)
I made sure to read their reviews to see if the Pathfinder is going to adapt to my new life as an socially active empty nester that still needs a functional family vehicle to haul the Twinz to and from their college dorms over the next few years. In addition, I must keep in mind that my youngest son (DJ TOMMY TUNEZ) is actually very active in the local entertainment scene and we need something that can handle hauling all of his equipment to and from gigs until he can afford to buy his own vehicle.
Fortunately for me, some of my fellow bloggers made it to the event and have very different reviews based on their lifestyles. I thought I would share some of the highlights, invite you to check their full reviews and last but not least encourage you to test drive one at your local Nissan Dealer (which I will be doing this Spring).
Although quite a few of my blogger friends attended, I thought I would mix it up to see what different people with entirely different perspectives thought about the car.
If you have kids, you already know that how comfortable they are will make all the difference in making those weekend road trips and visits to abuelas house FUN. I know that when we picked our last car we made sure that once we narrowed down our choices that we brought the Twinz to the dealership to make sure they were comfortable and that the car would be one they would not mind Mom dropping them off at school in.
Here is what Olivia & Sophia from Los Tweens had to say about the Nissan Pathfinder
The Tweens got into the Pathfinder once they saw the video system.
“That’s all that matters about a car to them. The Tri-Zone Entertainment system has a two-zone video feature which allows for viewing two different movies. I’ve seen this feature more in the minivan category than in SUV styles so its a nice upgrade. The option of two video choices can save MUCHO arguing on long road trips. Parents or drivers can then enjoy the ‘front zone’ radio features without being forced to hear the movies from the back.” – Katherine Doble-Cannata

Ana from Miami Mommy Savings also got a chance to check out the Nissan Pathfinder and really focused on the functionality. Like Katherine she wants something that will keep the kids entertained and that was focused on safety. Here is what she had to say…
“One of our favorite places to visit is Disney World in Orlando, we have made the trip to Orlando several times and in different size cars. Having three little ones, we always strive to provide them with safety and comfort while in the car. The new 2013 Nissan Pathfinder is packed with new and cutting-edge features that will surely enhance our next family road trip.” – Ana (Miami Mommy Savings)

And for those Dads out there like me that always gravitate to the specs of our next great purchase, our friends at LatinBlah really broke down all the exciting new functional features as well as the technology that was engineered into this latest Nissan Pathfinder.
SPOILER ALERT… Astrid from LatinBlah closed her review by saying the following…
The new Nissan Pathfinder is the best options for those who need a 7 seat passenger vehicle but can’t stand the look of a mini van. This vehicle is high on my list as a replacement for my current vehicle.
