Looking for a job? Many employers are looking for Latino applicants.

Unless you have been embroiled in a 3 year long game of dominoes, you are aware that at this time the economy has not been very friendly to many people across the country. In my neighborhood, I have even heard of families that came to this country looking for opportunities packing their bags and returning to their countries. Many of you do not have that option, you are 2nd, 3rd and 4th generation Latino.

Over the past few months as we have increased our presence in the community via our live shows, service projects, college lectures, our cultural showcase tour and just hanging out in some of the hottest cultural hot spots, I have had the opportunity to meet many of our readers / listeners. One of my favorite aspects of meeting so many people is I get to see what it is like in all of our Latino communities. I get to understand what some of the issues that affect us…even affect our ability to do things that are culturally rewarding. One of the things that are affecting many of you is the fact that you may be unemployed, underemployed or you are not doing what makes you happy.

I understand that throughout the last 12 years I have created a very big network of readers and  and in collaboration with one of my partners, Papo Swiggity (via Capicu Poetry), we have decided to put that network to work for you.

We have created a job listings site that you can use to find jobs with employers that are looking for qualified Latino or Multicultural applicants. In addition we made the advertising fee very affordable for business looking to post (Only $10 for a 30 day posting).

Spread the word… Latino Community Info is where you can find your dream job!
