Today’s Trailblazer is Neyda Martinez.

For over 15 years, Neyda has enjoyed a successful track record for creating, producing and implementing expert marketing/communications campaigns, and specialty engagement initiatives for clients and/or past employers ranging from major corporations, foundations, as well as artists (from emerging to a  MacArthur Fellow recipient) to contemporary art galleries and national media organizations.

In 2002, Neyda formed Monserrat Ltd., a NY-based small business serving private sector and non-profit clients, including the The Takeaway (a national news program produced by Public Radio International and WNYC, co-produced by WGBH in collaboration with the BBC, the New York Times); Emmy award-winning educational TV show, “We Are New York” for the NYC Mayor’s Office of Adult Education; Marguerite Casey Foundation; Random House; Hachette Book Group USA (the world’s second largest book publisher); Latin Grammy’s Corporate Sponsor Chivas Regal and award-winning producer and board member, KC Porter’s US introduction of Spanish artist, HUECCO; PINTA, the Latin American Art Fair; Fundación Cuba Avant-Garde, Magnan Metz Gallery; PBS’ Emmy, Peabody and Oscar award-winning series POV, among others.
