Siembra Initiative: Are your kids dipping their toes in social media? Here is an exercise that can help them do so responsibly. (Free Download)

I recently designed a curriculum around digital identity for rising high school students for a Summer Bridge program in NYC.

Inspired by one of these sessions, I decided to make a handout available to parents wanting to help their tweens/teens think about how they will show up in the world. This exercise is designed for them to commit to only creating content that is kind and helpful while highlighting the unique attributes they possess.

In a world where there is a constant focus around creating content and creating personal brands, I believe this to be a useful conversation starter to explore all aspects of the social media experience and hopefully reposition them to always put their mental health first as well as highlighting all the things conducive to the career goals they are currently developing.

I am making this resource available as a free printable download and hope that you will share your footprints with me.

(you can email screenshots / testimonials them to engage@sofritomediagroup.com)

There is also the option of donating to the Siembra Initiative project that provides training/guidance to over 200 artists, activists, and entrepreneurs of color since the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Important things for both parents and children to note:
