"Somos Amor...Somos El Mundo"

 I will admit, that I am not much of a daytime TV fan...and that is why I may have missed the buzz on this one. from what I understand, had I been watching the Cristina show (our Oprah), I would have seen that an A-List group of singers teamed up to remake "We Are The World" in Spanish. 

That, plus I have not kept up reading all the PR agency mail I get...and last not least had I just read my friend Meagan's blog (Vivir Latino) or My Latino Voice,  I probably would not be the last person amongst my peers to know about this.

So if you have been living under the same rock I have...here is the scoop on  Somos El Mundo...from what I understand, Quincy Jones reached out to our own Emilio Estefan to assemble some of the brightest stars in "Latino - America" (not Latino America) to re-record a Spanish version of this song to benefit victims of the Haiti Earthquake. The song has been #1 on I-Tunes for weeks. If you have not heard it...you are about to hear it now...make sure you buy a copy today!
