that cartoon is super racist! in latin america racism is worse than in the US b/c it's so much more visible, open, and acceptable. The people whom it affects are too powerless to do anything about it. but since we can do something and know better, we def should speak up.
In all of these countries, they are very racist against the black and native peoples, and think that the white skin toned people are superior. historically, that is why white people in those countries are generally from the higher classes; b.c of the world's history of slavery and that whole 'discovery' period where the native people of those countries were oppressed and still are to this day. It's really sad. that cartoon i bet, was not made by a black hispanic, but by some racist white hispanic.
i was actually watching some old goldwin meyer (american) cartoons the other day, and noticed how insanely racist they were! and they were on cartoon network! they displayed the confederate flag and these black bears that really were made out to make fun of african americans; but quite explicitly. i was shocked to say the least!
i am not very fond of old cartoons anymore.
